In the chronicles of American sports cars/racing, arguably no other name is quite as revered as Shelby. The late Caroll Shelby established his eponymous tuning company in 1962, and to date, it has been responsible for creating many world-beating American sports cars and racers, mostly conjunction with and based on Ford Motor Company products. We were therefore thrilled to hear that Shelby American is adding more high performance variants to its already impressive Mustang-based lineup of special edition cars.
